Everyone can be a Hero

As followers of Christ, we must go boldly.  Leaders should be courageous.   Being bold and courageous does not mean we don’t have fear. 70 times (Biblegateway.com) the Bible tells us to FEAR NOT.  It is an important message.

Jesus told his disciples don’t be afraid .  (Matthew 14:27)

Paul tells us to not to be afraid (Acts 27:24)

Isaiah 41:13:  For I am the Lord your God. who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (NIV)

Fear is one of the most common human emotions.  We have fear because we live in a world of sin.  Only Jesus can protect us from the evil one.

Satan and his minions  attack God’s people day and night.

If you are growing or moving forward from an illness or tragedy; Satan is going to hit harder.    Satan wants us to stay in the muck and mire to feel despair.

Jesus wants us to feel Joy, Hope, Peace, and LOVE.

Jesus wants our lives to be productive, organized if we need it.  Some people thrive in a chaotic environment.  Jesus wants us to not feel fear.   Which is why the subject FEAR NOT is mentioned so frequently in the Bible.

God knows how hard it is for us to be brave.  We think only Heroes are brave.  Want to know something about heroes?  They are brave because they have to be.  Something has to be done.  We call the one who decides that they are going to do whatever needs done a hero.  In the right place, at the right time, anyone can become the Hero.

When you move forward and don’t allow the evil one to keep you down, YOU ARE A HERO.  It isn’t easy, but you can do it.  You can move forward.  You can.
