Proverbs Challenge Day 9 Mockers

All most everyone has experienced being mocked.  You know someone laughing at you in a mean way.  I am talking about when you do something goofy in front of family or  friends and everyone starts laughing.  I am talking about the person that thinks what you are doing is foolish or won’t work. Recently I had this mocker on one of my social networks.  At first I thought their question was just that curiosity.  So I explained my post, they responded with another question, this time rather ridiculous. It was then that I realized they were just trying to anger me.  I ended the conversation.  It is true, a mocker doesn’t really want the truth, they just want to create waves. But the wise ask questions real questions and they want answers.  Which means if someone asks a question I will still answer, but I won’t be surprised if I encounter another mocker.

Proverbs 9:7-9

Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.   8 Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.
Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; each the righteous and they will add to their learning.
